A million photos of the falls =)

April 26, 2011

On our way to Niagara Falls last Tuesday, we stopped along the way in Geneva, a cute little town with huge old houses! (A lot of them had been turned into businesses, frat houses, and even a Jewish synagogue!) It was pretty cold out, and even started raining a little, but we did some shopping before heading on to Niagara Falls.

Downtown Geneva

In front of one of the churches

I think the castle looking building was a military recruitment office or something

We made it!

Just another of my many overexposed pictures. I really like how they turn out though =)

Looking across the river at Canada

I guess because it was melting snow the color of the water was really yellowish-brown

Snowy cliffs

Another shot of the falls and Canada

More snow and mist

Looking across at the bridge

It was a very overcast, cold day

Melting snow on the rocks

The swirls remind me of chocolate syrup on vanilla ice cream =)

Rockin’ our Wal Mart hats, scarves, and ponchos =)

To Canada! =)

Halfway across the bridge!

View of the falls from the bridge

Again

In Canada for the first time!

First look from the Canadian side

Bush stairs =)

Another shot that looks like all the rest =)

Another one – looking over at the USA =)

The end

I took a million photos, but there’s just a small glimpse of our cold, snowy, memorable day at Niagara Falls!

Beautiful pictures of a wintertime Niagara Falls! We went there a few summers ago and loved it! Definitely worth visiting over and over again.
