Ugh, media bias is SO ANNOYING. Are we really still talking about the fact that Meg Whitman had an “undocumented worker” (I hate that term, call it what it is, illegal alien) in her employ for 9 years? I seriously cannot believe the attention this non-story has been getting. Well, I guess I can believe it. Meg’s a Republican, so of course it will keep being brought up until the election. Were she a Democrat, the “story” would have never surfaced, much less been given daily press time.

I was just scanning the LA Times today and saw yet another article about it. This time they were quoting mothers who have employed “undocumented” household help themselves and they were saying that there’s no way Meg didn’t know her maid was here illegally. And that if she DIDN’T know that her maid was illegal, then that’s ‘even worse’ because it shows she didn’t take the time to get to know her.

WHAT? Seriously?

Maybe it just shows that Meg respected her privacy and also trusted her. I mean, really. This whole story is so utterly ridiculous I am amazed that “respectable” news outlets can bring themselves to continually talk about it. Ms. Santillan was hired from an employment agency and she had a fake Social Security Card! And MEG is the criminal here? Why in the world is no one talking about the fact that Ms. Santillan broke the law, and had a FAKE Social Security Card? SHE is the criminal here, not Meg. Not to mention the fact that she was LYING this whole time. Was Meg supposed to grill her daily about her immigration status? Wouldn’t that be considered racially profiling? Or being discriminatory?

The sad thing is, you really can’t win with our media. It’s so disgusting. It really is.

The Democrats are scared. And using any ridiculous tactic they can. They always do. But this….this is so ridiculous, I can’t believe it’s STILL being talked about.

So. Maddening. Grow. UP! And GET A LIFE PEOPLE!

Well, I’m doing my part for Meg each Tuesday night. We can still win this! I might not have voted for her the first time, but I’m voting for her this time around, and you should too!

Last night on the news I heard that the Republicans are leading in the majority of the states and that Obama was going around trying to raise support for the Democrats. It’s really ridiculous what they bring up about Republicans, but Democrats rarely get any flack. Really irritating. I could go on, but I don’t want to put a blog post on your blog. 🙂
