I feel really weird today. And it’s been a weird day too…
Last weekend was fun, we didn’t do too much. Mostly just hung out and talked and shopped downtown Ventura. It was nice to see Tonia and the girls again.
I am so far behind in posting library stories…I had some really good ones that I was like “I totally have to post this” and now I don’t even remember what they were! 😦 The library entrance has been torn up for a few days now so everyone is having to use the back entrance. It’s kinda weird. And our water keeps getting shut off. Which I guess is a nice excuse to get out and visit city hall. I don’t know why all the cute guys work over there, but they do. Not that it matters though.
Um…so they haven’t finished interviews at GPL yet, which means they still haven’t hired my replacement yet, obviously. It’s nice I guess since I will be sad to leave…but still…I have no idea how long it’s going to take…
I started reading a new book last night, Beautiful in God’s Eyes by Elizabeth George. Anyone read it? I think it’s sorta a devotional through Prov 31. It says it’s supposed to “stretch” you. 🙂 Sigh. I don’t know if I want anymore stretching right now. I mean, I know it’s good for you. But sometimes it feels like if you are stretched anymore you are going to snap in half. 🙂 Well anyways, just reading the book can’t be that hard. It’s the application that is hard. And the whole Prov 31 thing…sewing and all that…I hate sewing so I hope she doesn’t park there for too long. Hmmm…I hope it’s not all about marriage, I hadn’t thought about that before. Lol, well, we’ll see I guess. I’m sure you can still be a “virtuous woman” without being married, right? Goodness, let’s hope!
Well anyways, I am so tired so I guess that’s why I am rambling. This doesn’t even make sense. Lol, sorry. Like I said, I feel really weird today. Like really dizzy. I think I didn’t eat enough today! But today was weird, seriously.

Tom said he got a txt from you about it snowing last night! That’s cool. Do you like it? I only miss it the tiniest little bit. I miss the first snow when it’s falling softly and under the lamplight it reminds me of London. I don’t know why bc it wasn’t snowing when I was in London…but it does. Anyways, ha ha though, now you get to experience all the fun I had in WI! At least you don’t have to drive in it, for a little while anyways. That was the part I hated! Tom said to make a snowman for him, did he tell you?
I’ve read other books by Elizabeth George but not the one you mentioned. I found her books hard to read at first, but then I decided to simply read them without necessarily applying everything I read, so it wasn’t as hard after that. Stretching is definitely a tough job, though necessary for our growth.
