San Diego trip

Yesterday’s trip to San Diego was so much fun! We left home at 11:30 to take James back down for the game and dropped him off at the Naval Base on North Island where they were staying. We hung out on base for a little while till he had to leave and then we headed to Seaport Village to hang out till game time at 6:30. After Seaport Village we stopped for dinner and headed to Qualcomm Stadium for the game. It was a great game! 🙂 We scored first, SD tied it, then went ahead. After we came back though we didn’t stop and finished the game 35-10 I believe. It was a lot of fun! At half time we went down and sat in the section across from the band and anytime they weren’t playing, James would come over and hang out with us.

After the game they had an awesome fireworks display (by far the best I have ever seen) complete with a human canonball launched into the air! I tried to get pics of that, as well as the fireworks, but they didn’t really turn out. And then my battery died! 🙂 Anyways, it made for a very late night, and I fell asleep on the way home, but it was so much fun!

James originally was supposed to come home with us after the game and go to church with us today, but they changed the schedule so we left him there. Then this morning we found out that they were staying in SD till the weather cleared in Colorado. I guess now they aren’t leaving till tomorrow so Tom and David are on their way to go to SD and bring him back for the night! We have done a lot of driving down to SD (2 hours away) this weekend! So I hopefully I will see him at church tonight I guess. Who knows, with the AF plans change every 10 mins!
